Do you cringe at buying sexy lingerie because you are not at an “ideal” weight? I have been there. Sexy lingerie is not only beautiful to look at but you “feel” sexy when you have it on. Our partners are usually more accepting of our bodies than we are. For 2012 have you made any goals to start shedding extra fat? Have you set goals and already “messed up”? Sometimes you just need a little help. Sometimes you set goals that are too high, or steps that are too big. I like Kaizen steps! Kaizen steps are small laughable goals. Goals that are so small you laugh when you hear them. If you don’t laugh at the goals/steps you set, chances are you have created goals that are too large. This is how I find most goals created. You start out well meaning. Maybe you set a goal to go to the gym 5 times/week for the New Year and exercise 45 minutes each day. Or, you decide to cut your calories to 1000 calories day, and have NO sweets for 3 months. These types of goals are usually broken within the first few days if you have not been used to this type of lifestyle and your resistance builds quickly with this type of goal setting.SETTING GOALSWhen you develop Kaizen step goals, you create small laughable goals to start with. For instance you want to start drinking 100 oz. of water every day but you currently drink none. (And you are a heavy soda and coffee drinker). You also decide to cut out all soda and caffeine and replace with the water. I can tell you this isn’t going to last long. You are going to miss the taste of your caffeinated products and most will develop a headache then you will forgo this goal. Not all, but most will go back to old habits. A better plan would be to on purpose add a glass of water every day for a week, while cutting back on soda and coffee by one serving of each per day. The second week you increase the water and continue to decrease the soda and coffee. These steps do not trigger your resistance.ACCOUNTABILITYThe second plan of attack is to have an accountability partner. Being part of a coaching group or having an accountability coach is crucial. You need someone to hold you accountable for the goals you have set.PROGRAMSThere are so many programs available. Many are online where you can work on your goals without leaving home. You can even exercise or “move” at home. Choose what works best for you. The plan I currently coach involves learning an easy low glycemic lifestyle where you don’t count points or calories. It also involves learning healthy foods, using essential oils like a grapefruit/cinnamon/peppermint/orange combination to put in that water you need to drink and it also curbs your appetite. I really drink so much more water when I have great flavored water without all the chemicals.MIND-BODY CONNECTIONMore important than releasing fat is learning to love you: JUST AS YOU ARE! If you are not comfortable in a hot, sexy piece of lingerie now, what makes you think you are going to LOVE your body if you release a few pounds of fat? Learning to break false belief systems about you is crucial to a good program. You need to understand the underlying reasons why you are uncomfortable with who you are now, or why you self-sabotage every time you get on a program.GET THAT SEXY LINGERIE!

Getting Your Sexy On!How do you find energy for that intimate time between you and your partner? Often our responsibilities drain our energy. Making time for intimacy can be daunting at times. There are a few things you can do in the bedroom to open the energy. For one thing, do you have items in your bedroom that really remind you of other things besides lovemaking? Maybe clutter, or home office furniture, or even pictures of the kids?Do you have items in your room from days gone by, like your favorite doll from childhood, or a trophy from the when your team won?
Start by making your room adult friendly. Think about finding another place in your home for that office desk. Find a new home for that doll or trophy. What is color of your bedroom walls? What about a new paint job? Place the kids or family portraits in the hall or other living spaces. Find fun things for your room like a nice black light and instead of the family portrait, find nice relaxing wall hangings or something that says “this room is for me and you”. I love salt lamps. Nice soft color and they actually are releasing positive vibes. Do they still make lava lamps? Beautiful! Soft lights add an ambiance.What do you wear? My husband hates “granny gowns”. So you certainly have an assortment of fun bedroom wear and toys to choose from here! Spice it up a little! Don’t be drab! What can you do personally?I am an Aromatherapist as a nurse, and there are actually essential oils that can be used as aphrodisiacs, enhancers, help for impotence and increasing libido! There is a HUGE difference between fragrances and pure oils. Fragrances smell good. Certified Pure Therapeutic Oils actually produce a therapeutic response. I use CPTO exclusively with my coaching clients, myself and my family.So what oils can you use to help with the mood? Ylang Ylang is the top oil recommended as an aphrodisiac. The top oils I use as a single or blend, is Ylang Ylang, Rose, Whisper, Clary Sage, Elevation, Cinnamon, Ginger, and Geranium. We wanted to learn more about it and we read it started back in 1952! It was introduced by the British as a marketing campaign on TV.

Was this a result because of a stereotype men have of women who choose to wear red? To address this they had the women wore the same outfits but stood in front of a red, blue, white, gray or green background. The results showed the men were significantly more attracted to the women when she was against a red background. When asked if the color of her shirt made a difference none rep orted it. This indicates that color influences our judgements in an automatic and primarily nonconscious manner
These studies proved men find the "lady in red" sexually appealing.

How to Wash and Take Care of Your Lingerie
You have just purchased your lingerie and want to make it last, right? Well here a few tips on how to do that.
- It’s a good idea to wash your lingerie before you wear it for the first time for sanitary reasons and to rid the new garments of potential chemical residue as with any article of clothing.
- If you really want to wash your lingerie in the washing machine you need to have a laundry bag first to put them in. You may run them on gentle cycle and add a very mild detergent such as Woolite. Place the laundry bag inside the washing machine once it starts spinning with the detergent. After the cycle is completed remove the laundry bag and carefully unzip and remain the garments from the bag each individually. Lay the individual items between folds of a towel then press out the excess water. You may lay them flat or over a drying rack. You may put the bag itself in the dryer for a brief 10 minutes for future use.
- Do not squash the padding on any items or it could deform the shape. (Push up bras, etc.)
- To hand wash place the items in the sink filled with warm water and a little Woolite (see bottle for amount). Let them soak for 10-15 minutes to help soften the dirt. You may also gently rub the fabric together to clean away any dirt. After soaking take each item out carefully not to tangle and rinse with cold water until water runs clear. Do rinse thoroughly as many people do not adhere to this important step. Lay the garments flat on a layer of towels. Press out the excess water and lay flat or over a dryer rack until dry.
- Read all labels carefully for instructions and keep the darks and lights separate.

They were forced up into the ribcage or down lower into the abdomen. As women tried harder and harder to shrink their waists, the problems became more severe. There were often cases of women fainting repeatedly from an inability to breathe properly. This was the reason that women gained the reputation for fainting at the sight of a mouse. It also led to the invention of the fainting couch.
Women stopped wearing corsets as much for a while. The feminist movement decried them as a way to keep women tied down and powerless. As women left the home and became more active, they needed to move more freely and corsets were simply unacceptable. As well, styles changed and the wasp-waist fell out of fashion. A corset used stays that were traditionally made of whale bone. When the hunting of whales fell out of favor, so did whalebone stays and these foundation garments fell even further out of popularity. The bra was perhaps the final nail in the coffin for some time. Suddenly, women could support their breasts without the restriction of a full corset.
Recently, however, people are interested in wearing them again. There are different types of corsets and all serve purposes. Often, people who have back problems or other medical conditions may wear a corset in order to give the body added support and allows the body to heal itself. Others allow you to reshape your body or disguise a few extra pounds while giving lift and support to the bust line.
